It is our pleasure to invite you to join us for EONS 10 which will take place in Dublin in October 2016. This biennial nursing congress, organised by the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS) offers invaluable scientific, educational and networking opportunities and will welcome over 400 delegates from over 30 European countries. We are especially delighted that EONS 10 will take place alongside the 18th International Psycho Oncology Society (IPOS) Congress. This is a unique opportunity to bring these two organisations together in the one venue and will offer delegates a fantastic opportunity to network with nurse leaders and colleagues from around the world. EONS 10 will be a two day congress which will take place on October 17th & 18th October. Special rates will be available for participants of EONS who would also like to attend the IPOS Congress on one or more days.
The theme for EONS 10 is Balancing health care needs in a changing context. Balancing the physical and psychosocial care needs of patients and their family members is an increasing challenge for cancer nurses across Europe, in the context of demographic change and constant advances in diagnosis and treatment. This exciting conference programme brings together cancer nurses, clinical nurse specialists, advanced nurse practitioners, researchers, psychologists and other key members of the multi-professional team to discuss the care needs of patients and families and how they can best be met, to debate the challenges that nurses face in providing comprehensive care that enables people to live with and beyond cancer or to die well, and to consider solutions and new models of care that are fit for the future.
EONS are committed to helping nurses across Europe develop their skills, network with each other and raise the profile of cancer nursing. During EONS–10 you will have a fantastic opportunity to network with nurse leaders and colleagues from all over Europe as well as to benefit from the close liaison with International Psycho Oncology Society (IPOS) and of course, our hosts in this beautiful city of Dublin – the Irish Cancer Society and the Irish Association for Nurses in Oncology (IANO).
Call for abstracts IS NOW OPEN and Registration will open in early spring.
Together with our hosts the Irish Cancer Society and the Irish Association for Nurses in Oncology (IANO) we look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful city of Dublin in 2016.
